Fox puts top team on `Anastasia' vid sequel

Fox put its best theatrical animation people to work on a made-for-video sequel to its first animated feature ``Anastasia.''

Director Don Bluth, longtime partner Gary Goldman and the Fox Animation Studios team that created the original have finished the sequel called ``Bartok the Magnificent'' that will be released in video and DVD stores on Nov. 16 for a suggested retail price of $19.98 for VHS and $29.98 for DVDs.

The wisecracking bat voiced again by Hank Azaria moves up to headline the music-filled sequel, with Kelsey Grammer, Jennifer Tilly, Tim Curry and Catherine O'Hara taking on other roles.

The movie has Moscow street-performing Bartok reluctantly pulling off a daring rescue of Prince Ivan from the legendary evil Russian witch Baba Yaga. Five new songs are performed that were written and produced by the Academy Award-nominated and Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
